Growing up in the Lower Saxony area of Germany and having a history in classical and jazz piano, Nicolas Demuth aka Parra for Cuva gravitated towards the electronic musical capital of Germany, Berlin, after finishing his studies. Influenced by the rich musical history of the city, Demuth started producing deep and soulful house -- often collaborating with friend and vocalist Anna Naklab -- and saw his first release, Fading Nights EP, appear on French label Délicieuse Records in mid-2013. Signing the track, Wicked Games, to influential EDM label Spinnin', that same year saw Demuth's profile rise. This was followed by another release, Luhya, on Délicieuse that November. 2014 saw Parra for Cuva release on Traum Schallplatten, as well as finding a home on Berlin-based label, Lenient Tales, who put out the EPs Unfold and Entracte. ~ Rich Wilson
