Mike Farley was born and grew up in South Hempstead, NY, before moving to Cleveland in 1992. He is a smooth mixture of a clear-headed indie pop genius and a morose singer/songwriter. Often hiding his depression with sugary sweet melodies, Farley has managed to build a successful local following out of his strong live shows. His first album, Right This Time was followed by On the Edge of Somewhere in 1999 and quickly after by the similar Halfworldaway in 2000. Taking the next few years to perform, he returned to the studio in 2002 and put together Blue for a fall release. Farley relocated to Nashville in 2003 and set up his own public relations firm, Michael J. Media. In 2007, he returned to record making with Moments and Memories.” ~ Bradley Torreano
