Sophia, North Carolina-based worship leader Melissa Helser -- alongside her husband Jonathan David -- help run the multi-generational ministry A Place for the Heart, which was created by his parents, as well as the 60-day school, The 18-Inch Journey. Helser and her husband's first musical release, Long Story Short, appeared in 2011, followed by their sophomore album, On the Shores, the following year. Joining up with the Bethel Music Collective in 2014, Helser and her husband reissued On the Shores alongside the companion release Endless Ocean, Bottomless Sea in 2015. Helser's eighth recording with her husband, Beautiful Surrender, appeared in September 2016. The album topped the U.S. Christian charts as well as placing in the U.K., Canadian, and the Billboard Top 200. ~ Rich Wilson
