The younger brother of rapper Lil Keed, Lil Gotit is among Atlanta’s fast-rising hip-hop stars.
• Gotit grew up on Conley Road in Atlanta’s Southside. When he was expelled during freshman year of high school, he moved in with a friend who’s also Young Thug’s brother. • He was close friends with rapper Lil Rudy, who was killed in 2016. Rudy’s death prompted Gotit to take rap more seriously. • His 2017 debut mixtape, Super Squid, led to a deal with Alamo Records. The following year, he released his major label debut, Hood Baby. • He scored a streaming hit with his 2019 single “Da Real HoodBabies,” which spawned a remix featuring Lil Baby. • In 2020, Lil Gotit teamed with Lil Keed, Lil Yachty, and Zaytoven for the A-Team mixtape. That same year, he dropped the Superstar Creature mixtape, executive produced by superstar beatmaker London on da Track.
