Kjwan (pronounced without the ‘j’) take their name from the Tagalog linguistic filler for when something is at the tip your tongue… which sums up the kind of protean and ballsy blues-rock that the supergroup got together to make. The original lineup of former primary-school buddies set out on a quest to make Pinoy rock fun and filthy again, a mission that was launched off of monster single “Daliri” in 2004. They’ve remained on their own wild track to much acclaim, and there’s no sign of the crazy train slowing down.
