Rapper Justin Rarri showcased his melodic flow on the 2019 hit “W2Leezy,” which earned him millions of streams and led to a major label deal.
• Born and raised in the Bronx, Rarri decided to pursue a career in music after hearing fellow NYC rapper A$AP Rocky’s 2013 single “F**kin’ Problems,” released when Rarri was 11. He also lists Future, Kodak Black, and Young Thug as influences.
• Rarri worked closely with producer SumYunGhai on “W2Leezy,” helping to select the track’s distinctive guitar and 808 sounds.
• After signing to Interscope, Rarri released the 2019 mixtape 4EVARARRI, featuring a YK Osiris-assisted “W2Leezy” remix.
