Following in the footsteps of South London rap deity Stormzy, Hardy Caprio built on the lyrical prowess he showed on his early freestyles and became a UK chart staple.
• Caprio pushed himself to pursue music after witnessing the success of fellow London artists Krept & Konan and Stormzy. • He released the EP A New Page under the alias Profitz in 2010. • It would be seven years before Caprio’s quantum leap to stardom. In 2017, he turned up the heat with two EPs: The Hollywood EP and Hardy Season. • Also in 2017, he earned his first platinum plaque with the single “Unsigned.” • He made platinum magic once again in 2018, teaming up with One Acen for the lavish “Best Life.” • Caprio continued his ascent amid the craziness of 2020, releasing a series of singles that included his highest-charting effort to date, the Wes Nelson–assisted “See Nobody,” which reached No. 3 in the UK.
