An inventive English indie rock trio who pair introspective lyrics with offbeat rhythms and sinewy treated guitars, Caro emerged in 2016 with the nervy and atmospheric single "Cold Comfort." Four years later they released their debut album, Burrows.
Based out of Leeds and comprised of guitarist/vocalist Adam Parday, drummer Bryn Jenkins, and bassist Andrew Thomson, Caro debuted in 2016 with the singles "Cold Comfort" and "Admit/Resist," which elicited favorable comparisons to contemporaries like Alt-J, Everything Everything, and Bombay Bicycle Club. "Eyes on the Ground" and "Closet Lunatic" saw release the following year, with "Lick Your Lips" arriving in 2018. After inking a deal with the Maccabees' Felix White's Yala Records, the band issued their debut album, 2020's Burrows, which included all of their previously released singles. ~ James Christopher Monger
