Latin pop/rock singer and songwriter Camila Luna was born in 1993 in San Juan, Puerto Rico but grew up in Miami. She started playing guitar and writing songs in her early teens, and attended the University of Miami, majoring in Poetry and Modern Languages. While attending college, the budding songwriter casually met José Luis Pardo (from Los Amigos Invisibles), who not only encouraged Luna to record her songs but also helped her craft her debut album, Flamboyán. Released in 2014, it earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Pop/Rock Album of the year. Her 2017 sophomore effort, Flora y Fauna, also produced by Pardo, netted her a second Latin Grammy nod, this time in the Best Contemporary Vocal Pop Album category. ~ Mariano Prunes
