Acerca de Boef
Boef is the stage name of Dutch rapper and vlogger Sofiane Boussaadia. He combines a fast, confident rapping style with beats that draw from Euro-disco, Arabian music, and American hip-hop. Born in Aubervilliers, France in 1993 to Algerian parents, Boussaadia moved between France, the Netherlands, and America as a boy. As a teenager, he spent two years in juvenile detention in the Netherlands, beginning his career as a rapper after his release at age 18. Boef signed with Dutch music label Zonamo Entertainment in 2015. His 2016 debut EP, Gewoon Boef, hit number four on the Dutch Top 100 albums chart. In 2017 his first full-length album, Slaaptekort, reached number one on Billboard's International: Netherlands chart. ~ Benjamin Schulz
