Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ardhito Pramono sauntered onto the scene with a youthful approach to jazz that brings to mind a modern interpretation of laidback lounge music. Taking inspiration from ’30s to ’50s jazz, Pramono began pursuing his musical career despite pushback from his strict military family. The Jakarta-born crooner began uploading jazz covers online in 2013 before finding fame with the slowed-down, pillow-soft piano of 2017’s self-titled easy-listening EP and soundtrack contributions such as “fine today” and “Bila”.
