Based out of Orange County, California, Heartist have been blending fiery hard rock with passionate post-hardcore since their formation in 2011. Made up of singer Bryce Beckley, guitarists Robby DeVito and Tim Koch, bassist Evan Ranallo, and drummer Matt Marquez, Heartist barrel their way toward listeners with a stampede of huge riffs and thunderous drumming before turning on a dime to deliver a soaring, plaintive chorus, giving their sound an emotional edge that's served them well. In 2012, Heartist made their debut with an EP, Nothing You Didn't Deserve, before signing on with Roadrunner Records the following year. The SoCal quintet delivered its maiden full-length, Feeding Fiction, on the label in 2014. ~ Gregory Heaney
